We are having an ice-cream play date today. The ice-cream is only for the moms of coarse! As I am getting ready for it by cleaning for the 7 babies plus moms to come I have to now find something for Gracie to do while I work. I used to be able to just put down a blanket and she would just sit and play. Not anymore. In an instant she is on her stomach pulling up on all 4's and trying to get into things. She is still slow as a turtle but she can move. I had her in her exersaucer in the kitchen while I was unloading the dishwasher. Then upstairs I put her in the bumbo chair to watch a Baby Einstein sign language DVD while I did laundry. I couldn't believe she sat still in her bumbo chair for over 15 minutes!! She loves watching the babies and puppets on the DVD. I need to get some more of those!! She is asleep right now for her morning nap so I need to get moving to get more things done!
