This weekend marks the 29th annual Plano Balloon Festival. We used to go when I was little and it was always so much fun. Usually it is still hot, hot, hot here but Hurricane Ike brought us some good weather. Kelly and I got free tickets to use last night for Plano Schools night and we decided to go and bring Gracie.

She loved people watching, especially looking at little kids and dogs. She had been at the in-home day care today and I think she was exhausted and hungry!

We happened to get there right as the balloons were taking off!

Too bad the little one isn't looking and Kelly is holding her wrong! I have photo shop but haven't figured out how to cut and paste yet!

After some food, she was in a great mood. She had her first bites of a corny dog. She's now ready for the state fair of Texas!

She especially loved playing in the grass and trying to sneak away.

Luckily her Daddy was right there to get her.

All the balloons are up in the air!

We even got to see "Elvis" sing a "hunk of burning love". Gotta love it!

All 3 of us were exhausted and heading back to our car miles and miles away. We'll definitely come back next year!!!

What cool pictures!!! I love that we can see the balloons from our house. Although Lily our lab is scared of them! :)
That looks like so much fun! I am glad you all had a nice evening!
We went on Friday night! Is that when y'all went? Daniel and I used to see the balloons floating through Plano when we lived there, but haven't actually been until this year. It was fun!
