A Nice Afternoon

I took little miss sunshine to the park by our house yesterday afternoon. It was the most beautiful day we just couldn't stay inside! I packed her a snack and some juice. There were so many kids out on bikes and walkers she just loved people watching. She wasn't too thrilled with the swings so we'll have to work on that later!

We picked up Kelly from the airport late last night. He was so glad to be home but had a lot of fun seeing college friends. He sure missed his Gracie girl though. She woke up when he was putting his bag in the car and smiled and fell back asleep. At home when we got everything in she immediately reached for him. I know she missed him! She did me a huge favor by sleeping in until 7:15. This never happens and I am so thankful!! Even though Kelly woke me up at his usual time as he was getting up :)

One more thing... Gracie has started saying "Mum" to me. It's the funniest thing. She crawl over to me and say "Mum!" She especially will say this when I have something she wants, like food! Never thought she'd say that for me but it's pretty cute!
