She is going through this bad separation anxiety phase. It is getting bad! She cries at her sitter (but she is liking it there the 2 Fridays a month!) and lately cries at people that get "too close" to her at the store. It's very embarrassing! Today we took her to the "walker" room at church. She's too old for the baby room. We've never taken her before, we always take her to church with us. I thought since she's 1, it's time! She lasted about 20 minutes then we got paged. Our church is adding on a new sactuary so it seemed like it took me forever to get back to her room going through and around construction. I could hear her crying from down the hall. Poor baby. I felt bad for her. She was doing the real sad crying and breathing heavy. They had even gotten out her paci and lovie. As soon as I got her outside to make the hike back to try and find Kelly she was fine again. They said to bring her back next week to get her used to it. We'll see!

I know that too quiet......... Theo's thing is the toilet, can even slide doors open. Be thankful it was just your purse!!!
We took Lydia to the church nursery for the first time this weekend too! She had a hard time at first, but then did fine. She was tired so they just held her in the rocking chair for the most part. It was hard to leave her there - we've never left her with anyone other than people she's known since birth. I didn't know how she'd respond, but we thought we better get her used to it before the separation anxiety phase arrives down the road. I do think you should take her back next week. You know how fast they adjust and you've already done the hardest part. She'll make some more friends!
