That Sound

You know what I am talking about... That sound you DON'T hear sometimes.....

This morning I was getting Gracie's breakfast ready. She was in the living room with her juice and snack trap. I then got side tracked with our messy pantry and food falling everywhere so I started re-organizing that. I could hear her "playing" so I kept going and going. All the sudden I looked up because there was that sound... the sound of something going on that shouldn't. I moved around the counter and saw this...

Excuse Jack's eyes in the picture! Obviously I scared them both!! She had found a napkin and tore it into 1,000 pieces and spread it everywhere. I know it could have been something worse and this was funny and easy to clean up.

Giving Jack a kiss on his side.

Poor Jack, he just kept licking the carpet even with paper on his back. I think he 's just glad for the extra attention from someone ;)

On another note tomorrow marks her 14 month birthday!! We have our very long, never ending, day at school tomorrow so I won't be able to post. She's still not walking. I looked in my baby book and I walked at 12 and 1/2 months, Kelly was at 10 months, so she needs to get moving! She did take 2 steps last night and was so proud but then didn't want to do anymore. She is just not quite ready... We're hoping before her 2nd birthday!

Hey Shannon... such cute stories on your blog about Gracie. Just wanted to let you know that Rylan (my youngest) didn't walk until he was 16 months old!!!

I love how sweet Jack is with her. I wish we could have gotten him and Jake together to play before we left. Chander did not walk until 14 1/2 months. It will happen before you know it!
