Ice Storm 2009

We had our first official ice storm this year. The storm was predicted to be pretty bad and wide spread so we even got out of school early on Tuesday. Never in my 8 1/2 years of teaching and growing up in all Plano schools have we had an early release due to bad weather. It was pretty crazy at school trying to call all the parents and telling them they had to come get their kid in 1 hour. The teachers were supposed to stay until 1:30 but since we live in McKinney we were able to leave right after the kids. They didn't have to tell us twice! Wednesday is not my work day so I didn't care either way if there was school. I am so glad that they were closed today because I have caught Gracie's bad cold now and have been sick, sick, sick. We've just been hanging out in the house trying to stay warm. Gracie still has her cold so I think Kelly is getting cabin fever!

I just realized all these pictures are with Jack. I even took them at different times during the day but it seems they are always together!
