Kelly has played soccer almost all the 7 years we've known each other. He's come home occasionally with the bumps and scrapes and some sore muscles, but this one takes the cake. He came home Sunday telling me he collided with another player head on. (They were both going for the ball head first) At first he just had a bad scrape across his forhead but as the days have progressed it has turned into a horrible black eye. Worse yet, he had to teach some new material to 30 5th grade teachers across the district yesterday and he didn't tell them what happened! The probably thought he got in some bar fight! Today at school people were saying that they couldn't believe what I did to him (yeah right, like I could do that!) It's hard to tell from the pictures and bad lighting but owell! I just wanted to show his family what he looks like.

Kelly, Ouch! You poor thing. Good thing you have two woman to take care of you.
Love you
Jill
I totally feel for you! I'm also a sports widow and Daniel has come home with at least 20 football or basketball-related injuries. The best was him getting a black eye the day before Avery's dedication at church. I've learned to accept it :)
