On a sad note... I got some scary news at school yesterday. The bad economy that has just been around us has now hit Plano. Many of you might have heard that Plano is in a major deficit, like 14 million dollars, to be exact. My part time contract is not going to be extended for next year. I found out about a month ago but was told yesterday that my spot that I share with another teacher has officially been filled by another Sp. Ed teacher from a different school. I knew it was a possibility but was really hoping things would work out. They still can, but it will be a long shot now with the bad situation Plano is in. I hate the economy! Even if I wanted to work full time there are no positions at our school right now. Scary times.... Say a little prayer something works out for me. I HAVE to have a job and I really like what I'm doing. It's been amazing working 2 and 1/2 days and being able to stay home a bit with my sweet girl. I'm really hoping things still fall into place and a miracle happens. I know they happen because it happened for me for this year!

TGIF
You never know what kind of mood Gracie will be in after her nap but this morning she was in a pretty good one. A silly mood. She was wanting Kelly's hat so I let her wear it and snapped a few pictures.

We love Friday's around here. Especially when we don't have a lot going on for the weekends. It's just nice to relax around the house and enjoy some family time together. TGIF!

I am so sad for you Shannon! I really hope you find another part time job at another school!
Shannon, I love these pictures of Gracie!! What a hilarious personality she has! I'm sorry to hear about the job situation. I know something will work out, and praying for you and your family that I love. A lot can happen over a few months time in the school system or in life in general. Blessings!
Ugh, that is such a bummer. Keep me updated and I'll be hoping for the best for you. ((hugs))
