It was just too perfect of a day so we thought taking lunch to the park would be a good idea. I was so excited and we got all of our gear packed; ice chests, blankets, sunscreen, frisbee, and food! What was I thinking????????
Grandma and Grandpa finally got to see that Gracie isn't "perfect" all the time. She was a holy terror, and I do mean terror. Sorry to any of you at Towne Lake Park on Tuesday! The problem was she just wanted to run her little heart out to the water and she would have just gone right in if we hadn't stopped her. She had NO clue that it was a pond and couldn't get in. Not to mention that she doesn't know how to swim yet!
Before lunch: we looked at the water.
Gotta love cheese puffs! She was so wanting down that I could only keep her sitting with cheese puffs.
I love this one. It's like she's saying "Please Daddy!"
Making her escape from Daddy
Yea, she looks sweet but....
Look at my little angel in this picture! She was so squirmy, wormy wanting down, down, down!
Daddy trying to talk some sense into her.
She's off
Trying to show her the ducks, she didn't care. She wanted the water.
Sort of a family picture
I was so exhausted after this park trip. We only stayed about an hour. We never got out the blankets or even really sat down. I saw these cute little families all sitting on blankets enjoying the beautiful day.... maybe next year...
