Happy Easter to everyone!!
Unfortunately I want an Easter Re-do. We have not had the best of days like I was anticipating. Sweet little Gracie woke us up at 4:30 screaming her head off. I ran in her room thinking it was the loud thunder that was just scaring her. She was sitting in her bed just screaming so loud. I scooped her up and she was all sweaty and shaking. I took her temp and nearly fell over when it said 103.8. She has NEVER, EVER had a fever that high. I rushed her into our bedroom and Kelly and I tried consoling her but nothing was working. I ended up calling the after hours nurse and she said as long as it didn't go up past 104 then we were okay. It was a rough few hours and things didn't get much better all day. Her fever did go down to 101 then 100 then 97. She was pulling, pulling on her little ear so I knew she had an ear infection. And of all days to get an ear infection- on a Sunday, and Easter Sunday so NO ONE was open except the ER. We debated going and went around to every store this morning looking for pedia-light pops and special juices for her because she was drinking and eating nothing. We now own a nice variety of juices and freezer pops for anyone in need! I ended up having a prescription for her for an anti-biotic that we never needed. Luckily walgreens was open and waiting for us. I thought it couldnt hurt her and it is finally kicking in this evening. We still went to GG and Pops but she wasn't herself at all and cried pretty much the whole time when she was awake. Maxum was sick too and didn't come so we want an Easter Re-do! No pictures here either because I left my camera at GG and Pops house. The Easter Bunny came and left some fun things so he called and might be making a 2nd stop here when she's feeling better :)

I am sorry she is feeling so bad! I hope she feels better soon!
Hope Gracie gets to feeling bettter real soon!
Look at those cute pictures in her sweet dress. And, in response to my Mocha and Me post, yes, dogs do change our lives, and I love how much Gracie loves her some Jack the dog!!!
That is the sadest story ever. I know your heart must have been breaking for her. Poor little thing... I hope she's feeling better. Good job, Mommy and Daddy, taking care of her. You know, she's only 1 1/2 and doesn't really know when Easter is, so technically...you CAN have an Easter re-do if you want! Put her in her dress this Sunday and get together with your family again and have another egg hunt!
