19 Months Old Today!

Dear Gracie Girl,

You are 19 months old today! This is a good month because you don't have to go to the Dr. for any shots!! Another month has just flown by. I think they are going by faster now and that makes me sad. This last month was a tough month for us. You seemed to be sick for almost the entire month so we are hoping for good health this month.

I took you outside (where else?) for your monthly pictures. You insisted on carrying your cup with you.
You are such a silly one! You make us laugh all the time with your silly faces and funny words and animal noises that come out of your mouth. You're big into repeating things we say now too. (We are having to watch what we say!) You say "woof" every time we see a dog, and I mean every time. No matter if it's on tv or when we are in the car. You are just learning the sounds of a cat, lion, and monkey too!
I love that you love to wear bows. You insisted I put this big pink bow in your hair this morning, even though you were just wearing pj's. I love that you love to pick up toys now. It's a game to you. I'm sure it won't always be that fun to you. I love that you have starting putting our shoes away too. Today you picked up Daddy's big shoes, carried them around the hall to the hall closet and put them in and closed the door. It brought the biggest smile to my face! I love your kisses and your hugs. You give the best squeezing hugs!!

I love that take things in. You love to stop and smell the roses, or just enjoy life. It is a good motto to live by and you have made us enjoy life too!

I love the sounds you make when you are happy. The other day when you were throwing a fit and crying I said to your Daddy that I was going to get some ear plugs. He replied "Ahh, then you'd miss her laugh." He's right, I don't want to miss that.

You are the sweetest girl I know Gracie! Even though your fits are more often now and louder. Even though you test me some days to my breaking point. I love you more and more each second. I am happy you are you! We are looking forward to a great 19th month!! Here's to 19!
