Happy Father’s Day

Dear Da-da,

This year marks your 2nd Father’s Day. You are a very special Da-da and I love you very much.

Let’s take a trip down memory lane…

 

Here you are holding me in the hospital… the first time I laid eyes on you!

 

You had never changed a diaper before but you had to learn REALLY fast! Momma says you were the best swaddler.  Can you seem me under that blanket????

 

Since I was born in October (your favorite month) you showed me what college football was all about!

 

Momma says you were the late night person so you got to stay up and feed me, but we mostly did this…

 

 

Over the next few months I started sleeping more at night, so I would get to see you when you got home from school!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Momma always has to tell you what clothes to put on me because the one time she didn’t, this is how you dressed me- I was 6 weeks old and you put me in a 12 month onesie- and it was November!!

 

 

You taught me how to drive at such a young age!

 

My very first words were “Da-Da”

 

Father’s Day 2008

 

You have become my bestest play-mate. You always get on the floor with me, chase me around, or just sit and read a book to me. You make me laugh so much my cheeks hurt!

If I am ever sad or mad you are the one that can brighten my mood. You run and chase me and then pick me up high in the air. I love you Da-Da.

You are very protective of me, always making sure I’m getting enough protein to eat and I love you for that! I am so glad you are my Da-Da and I wouldn’t trade you for the world!!
