We ventured out in the heat today to watch Maxum’s t-ball game. It was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. Seriously. He’s not quite 4 yet so it is the 3-4 year old t-ball. Their goal is to hit the ball and run to 1st base. There are no outs, only 2 innings, and no winner! (They don’t keep score!) It was pure entertainment to watch someone hit and all the kids on the field dog pile each other for a chance at maybe touching the ball. Maxum had his whole family out to watch (me, Gracie, Uncle Googs (Kelly), GG, Pop, his cousins Jenna and Jack, and his Aunt Libby and Uncle John (Alison’s sister and brother in law). He was literally beside himself to have everyone there to watch him-he was a little distracted. We found a smidge of shade (from a light pole) and had a blast watching him!
Maxum did hit the ball really good both times at bat. He would take off to 1st base and had fun talking with the 1st baseman from the other team!
Run # 3, Run!
Look at this cool move
Gracie had no idea Maxum was playing baseball and I think she was a little surprised to see him when he came running up after the game.
The best part of the game; the drink and snack. He was loving his Nutter Butters!
The cutest #3 out there!
Go River Dogs!
