We spend out last days of our beach vacation just on the beach. We had done all the side trips and shopping we wanted to do and it was time to just enjoy the sand and sun to soak it all in.
As you can see, Gracie did warm up to the sand but just barely. She seemed to do better when Kirk or Alison walked with her. It was like watching her learn to walk all over again. She looked like a little, old lady.
She loved, loved, loved the water though. She would say “wa-wa!” and we’d pick her up and take her out again. I was wishing I had a baby wrap or Moby wrap to wrap her up against me to wear in the water!

If and when we got Gracie to sit in a chair she had her own personal servants (usually me and Kelly) that would go fetch her some water in her bucket and pour the 3 grains of sand off her feet so she wouldn’t have ANY sand on her precious feet while she sat and watched. I never knew such high maintenance from her until this week!
Here’s her Daddy washing off her little feet. Maxum would say “Does Gracie like the sand yet?” Poor thing, he wanted to be chased from her so badly!

I took over 1,000 pictures and we took so many videos there is no way to put them all on here! I actually put most pictures and videos into a movie for my mom to see later!
