This past Saturday was the 1st day in nearly a month that we didn’t really have anything going on until late in the evening. Kelly went to the Baylor/Nebraska game in Waco so it was just us 2 girls. It was so nice to have the day to just play and have fun! I love hearing Gracie talk. She sure does say some funny things sometimes. Here is a recent conversation we had!
Me: “What’s your name?”
G: “Name? Acie”
Me: “What is your favorite color?”
G: “Color? Umm, Orange!” (she thinks all colors are orange!)
Me: “What is your favorite thing to eat?”
G: “Eat? Snack”
Me: “What do you want?”
G: “I want snack, snnnnnaaaaccccckkkkk”
(She chose raisins)
Me: “Do you like raisins?”
G: “Yep”
Me: “How old are you?”
G: “I Two!”
Me: “Show me with fingers? How old are you?”
G: “Two” (she shows 3 fingers!)
Me: “Who is the best dog in the whole world?”
Me: “Is Jackie a good dog?”
G: “Jackie want raisins?”
Me: “Are you a good girl?”
G: “Yes!”
G: “My slide?”
Me: “Yes, that’s your slide.”
Me: “What should we do now?”
G: “Umm, color? I color?”
Me: “Okay, let’s go color.”
Yes, it’s the little things in life that are so fun sometimes! Just hanging around the house eating raisins, playing outside, and coloring!
