Christmas #1

Tonight we celebrated Christmas #1 here in town with my family. Why we decided to do Christmas early is beyond me. I was in charge of getting my mom’s gifts and since I did most of my shopping on-line over 1/2 of her presents had not come in yet! Gracie was in a piss poor mood most of the night. She literally woke up on the wrong side of the bed from her nap and didn’t get much better. Owell. We had fun laughing at her..

We met tonight at GG and Pop’s house and even Papaw got to come over. We had a wonderful dinner and the best part? Presents!! GG outdid herself with the Jack n’ the Boxes. (This was Nana’s tradition when we were growing up and it was the most fun to open all those boxes when I was little!!)

 

See her crying self? If I wasn’t holding her she was mad- until we started opening presents!

The kids racked up on lots of fun toys and cute new clothes from GG. Maxum got a lot of Batman and Star Wars gear and Gracie got a huge trunk of dress up clothes and a fun mailbox. (I don’t know where we are going to put all this stuff!) See, she would not put down the mail box!

After dessert we changed them into their cute Christmas pj’s and they just played and played. Gracie was totally eyeing that Robot of Maxum’s!

Seriously!  Look at my daughter! Needless to say it was way passed her bedtime so we packed it up and called it a night!
