We were beyond thrilled when we heard that sweet Abbie and cute Carter were coming to visit us from Houston! Monday afternoon they came over and the kids played and played. We ate pizza and made some cookies too!
Gracie was squinting on purpose and I couldn’t get her stop!
They loved playing with the Gak we had made earlier too.
Abbie and Carter are the cutest brother and sister! They both have the bluest eyes you’ve ever seen!
Abbie likes babies too so the girls had fun playing.
Then on Tuesday we met in Allen to let the kids run around through the maze and little houses. It was super hot and even got up to 85 in the afternoon. First day of winter too!
Abbie will be 4 in March. She is one tall girl and smart as a whip!
Gracie was shy at first but then finally warmed up. We even walked to Toys R Us to look at the fun toys.
After play time we headed across the street to eat at the yummy Purple Cow. It was so good. We were all starving!
After lunch we went next door the cookie shop and all got yummy cookies. Gracie wanted chocolate chip M & M, and Abbie and Carter both got iced sugar cookies. Carter devoured his!!

To burn off some energy we walked to the fountains. Gracie was dying to get in. I rolled up her pant legs and took off her shoes/socks. I told her not to get soaking wet (ha, ha). That only took about 5 seconds for a fountain to spray right up her back.
Gracie got soaked! She was in heaven!!
Thank goodness I had a spare set of clothes and a towel in my car. Always, always have a towel in your car!!

Thanks for making the trip up here Lindsay, Abbie, & Carter. We sure had a fun time playing with you guys!
