Taco Tuesday

Tacos are like a staple in this house. One of the main things I knew how to cook when we got married. Luckily, Kelly loves tacos so I know they will for sure get eaten Smile

I like to change things from time to time either by making taco pie, or like tonight; flat tacos. My mom used to make these when I was growing up and they were always a hit. (Thanks, GG!)

Flat Tacos:

Brown your meat and mix in taco seasoning and water;

Once this is done, preheat your oven and get taco shells laid out on cookie sheet. For extra fun, which Kelly loves, spread bean dip on each taco (thank you, Rachel Ray!) first. Next, spoon out some meat and add on top of beans. Top with shredded cheese and bake on 350 for 5-8 minutes (just enough to melt cheese!)

1 pound of meat can make around 8 tacos.

Now top your cheese with whatever- lettuce, sour cream, or even salsa!

It’s pretty yummy!

While we ate tonight (Gracie ‘worked’ at the table)

She came home starrrrrving, so I fixed her tortillas and beans while Kelly was tutoring. Look at those big brown eyes staring at me from behind her crayons! Jack loves when we sit at the table, he knows someone will drop something!!

Our dog, Penny, gets that exact same look on her face around dinner time!
