Well Check/ Sick Check

Gracie had an appt on Thursday to get her ear and sinus checked since she had bad infections 2 weeks ago. I picked her up from school early and she just didn’t look right. At the Dr.’s office they took her temp and she had 102.5. Poor Baby. I thought she felt warm but I can never tell. She was in a good mood but stuffy nose. We did the flu test just to double check but luckily, no flu. It’s just a virus for now….

 

We made this her 3 year well visit since we hadn’t had it. (I thought last spring her Dr said we didn’t have another well visit until age 4 but it was no shots until 4, oops!) She weighs 31.7 pounds and is 36 1/2 inches tall. She got her hearing checked and vision checked and everything looked good. She also got her blood pressure taken for the 1st time.  But everything looks good despite her bad cold. The Dr. asked some normal development questions and was impressed at how much Gracie was talking and answering her. I never know how shy she is going to be but she wasn’t today! Kelly stayed home with her on Friday and she seems to be better already! She has been sick so much this year but this is her first year to be in school/day care full time. She’s around so many more germs!
