Easter 2011

We had a wonderful day this Easter. Gracie woke us up around 6:30 saying “Did that bunny come visit me? I think I saw him outside.” We let her watch one show then I said I’d go down and check. Sure enough, he did….

Her goodie basket: 2 ‘play’ outfits, Beauty and the Beast DVD (she loves it! and says “Can I watch that Belle movie again?” bubbles, Tangled book, treats, and bunny toys.

She was so excited for her basket, not so much hunting eggs. I guess she didn’t really understand why there were eggs hidden all over? Not sure. She liked going to get them but she didn’t want to take her basket around and collect them.

We had a quick breakfast and then started getting ready for church. We went to 10:00 service but had to drop off food at GG/Pop’s before hand so we had to rush out the door at 9:10.

We had a great service at church and Kirk, Alison, and Maxum joined us too. We headed back to GG/Pop’s and started taking pictures!!

I can’t possibly post all of them but here are some of the major highlights.

Pop cooked and out did a fish fry this year. It was sooo yummy!

Gracie and Maxum played so good and this is what happened in about 5 minutes after we got in the car.

LOVE IT.

We came home and ended up having a random showing at our house (unannounced with a 5 minute warning. Of coarse our house looked like Easter blew up in there. Owell.)
