Bluebonnets 2012

Several weeks ago we met up with Maxum to take our annual bluebonnet pics. Luckily we did it when we did this year because they were gone super fast. The day we me it was very overcast and sort of dark and had been pretty foggy that morning. The bluebonnets were really pretty but super wet so the kids got pretty dirty!

 

Once again there were tons of ladybugs so that's what the kids are holding/looking for in the pictures! 

 The kids had a really fun time. What you really can't see is how wet for Gracie was. She's shorter so the bluebonnets hit her right at her crotch. Her shorts were soaked but she kept going!! She was in love with the ladybugs and wanted to take them home. 

She's stuffing them into her pockets. Look at her wet shorts! I had to dig all the ladybugs out and explain to her that they could NOT come home with us!
