Summer Swimming

I know I say this a lot but we cannot keep Gracie out of the pool. It's like an obsession maybe. Luckily she has been really busy with 1/2 day camps so we only have the afternoons/evenings. We also threaten no swimming unless she takes a good nap!  She gets so mad if one of us doesn't want to swim. She's even been known to cry and stomp her feet if we tell her no swimming. We are so thankful for our pool.

She does this running and jumping thing 10,000 times. She cannot get enough. We don't have a diving board so she just makes the run and jump herself!






She now can flip backwards under water. I was showing her and all the sudden she did it. Now she's hooked.! I cannot believe she can flip under water! And last weekend on her 3rd time to swim for the day we just let her swim in her pj's. She was so excited!!








 We are so thankful that we haven't had the major heat wave that we had last year. Right now we've only had 11 days at 100 or higher. Highest was 106- set a new record for the day, and last year by this time we had at least 35 100 straight days. Insane. It's still really hot- right now we're at 99 but it as long as it's under 100 we can manage. We are enjoying our last few weeks of summer. It's almost over, already. Boo!
