1st Day of Pre-K

Hip Hip Horray, Gracie started Pre-K Today!

Today, August 27th, Gracie started Pre-K. Her very last year of week day school before she starts big Kindergarten next year. As I was driving her we passed where she'll go next year and I saw all the Mommies and Daddies and I totally teared up. I can't believe that will be us next year. Thank goodness we've got 1 year to get the tears out!!

She was super excited and couldn't wait for school. She was happy as a lark and that made me so glad. It's so much easier to drop off when they are happy! Her teacher is Miss Serena and she's just as sweet as can be. Gracie already knew her because she happened to teach music last year at the school. I was thrilled for that.

We all had great days today. Kelly started his new job and it went well. My job was good and the best part of my day was walking out at 12:45. What's not to love? I zipped over and scooped her up from her school and we were on our way for a 1st day treat. She chose an orange slurpee. Yum. I am so thankful for all the blessings we have right now. Here's to a great 2012-2013 school year!

*Here's my confession. I actually took these pictures last night. Ha! She didn't wear this at all to school but she looked so darn cute and was all ready so I pulled her outside Sunday evening so I wouldn't have to do it in the morning. Ha ha :)
