On Sunday, May 12th (Mother's Day) Ramsey was baptized at our church. Both sets of Grandparents were there so it was a special day. Here is Gracie all dressed up.
We were able to make it out the door early with everything we needed. Not easy! My two sweet kiddos all ready to go. Luckily he fell fast asleep and we let him :)
Our church celebrates baptisms during the church service. I was thrilled to see he was the only one! They get more special time. We had Gracie baptized on a Palm Sunday when she was 5 mths and there were like 5 that day! Finally it was time to go in front of the congregation.
Ramsey did GREAT! He didn't even make a peep. It was nice :) I was more worried about him having a major diaper blow out. It has been a few days and I just knew in church wearing that sweet HAND washed outfit he'd have one. But, he came through and waited until later when Daddy was holding him :)
Our minister took Gracie by the hand and led her down so everyone could see her. It was super sweet. He talked to her and just said how cute she was.
I really had high hopes for some sweet pictures AFTER the service but Ramsey just wasn't having it. He was tired, overstimulated and just plain HUNGRY! Owell.
GG and Pop hosted a nice lunch for all of us after church. Here is the baby whisperer- my brother!
It was a very special day and a special Mother's Day. One that I'll never forget :)
