Lake Fun

Back in June Pop found a big ski boat. We jumped at the chance for a lake day. Ramsey stayed home with GG!    I'm not sure why the videos are not working. I'll have to add them back in another time :)

 I'm not a huge fan of swimming in the lake. I'm a scaredy cat actually. I just hate thinking about what's lurking underneath you. I'm terrified of snakes. Sounds crazy but I've seen my fair share of water moccasins growing up and it's scary! Somehow my fear of snakes rubbed off on poor Gracie. She was terrified of snakes too. But, it was hot and we had to cool off. I cannot believe she did it!! You can hear me laughing in the background because she has no fear!!

the plan was to go tubing. Maxum was all over this of coarse. Then Gracie wanted to as well. I cannot believe we did this now but we let her tube with Maxum. All alone! It was fine at the time but I started panicking about what she'd do if she fell off. Would she go under and panic? What if her life jacket came off and she sank? Oh the fear of the unknown. Luckily she's got muscles and she held on for dear life with Maxum!! If he wasn't going to fall off neither was she :) After a fun ride I told Pop to slow down and we eased them back to going slow then stopped.

 She had a ball and was soooo brave! She didn't care about snakes anymore! I even got brave and got in myself but I didn't stay in long. We also made Kelly jump in first so the snakes would get him first!!
