*Update*

Gracie gave us quite a scare after her morning nap. She woke up crying. I went in to get her and noticed her left hand was all swollen. It was not good! I quickly called the after hours place and they said to take her in somewhere right away. We had an hour before they opened so we quickly got ready, Kelly fed her lunch, then we got another scare (at least I did) when we were in the garage. I put her in the car seat and walked around to the drivers side to find a non-friend of mine (whiskers and a lonnnnnnng tail) dying as we speak from the poison we have now been adding to our weekly grocery list. Is anyone else having this problem? We've heard they are taking over Frisco and McKinney. (4th one we've found in 1 month) Yuck-o. Kelly (thank goodness he was there) quickly disposed of it and we were off to the Acute Kids Care of McKinney.

Long story short, they think it is an allergic reaction to either something she ate or clothing she's come in contact with. The bad news is we may never find the cause. She hasn't eaten anything new but that doesn't mean it wasn't something she ate. She is now on benadryl and received a low dose steroid for her swelling. Poor baby! Without looking at her you wouldn't think anything is wrong, she's happy and eating great so that's the good news. We're going in tomorrow for a check up and now to make sure the rash hasn't spread. So for now I"m doing tons of laundry to make sure it wasn't her clothes. As I was typing this is crawled up in my lap to watch the rest of her Baby Van Gogh video.
