20 Months Old

Today, June 2nd, You are 20 Months Old!

Saying you’re 20 months is so much better than 19 months!

Here are some things about you:

Diaper size “4”

Weight: 23.2 pounds

Teeth: still strong at 16 (8 top, 8 bottom)

Shoe size: 5 (you just started wearing this, you have the tiniest feet around)

• We just started you on allergy medicine and so far it’s been great!
• You still LOVE to sleep and still take 2 naps
• You love being outside as long as there is water you could stay out all day
• You have started learning your animal sounds you know: a duck (quack-quack), a cow (mmmmmm) a dog (woof-woof) a cat (meeee-ow) a lion (rawwwwwwrrr), and a monkey (that’s hard to spell, the regular monkey sound)
• You love animals; I brought out your animal hospital I got as a baby shower gift for you and you will play and play with the animals giving them water, shots, listening to their hearts, so sweet!
• You are still an early riser; usually around 6:15 but sometimes 5:30…. it’s a good thing Momma is a sort- of- morning person, Daddy is NOT
• You like music, when we hear a musical commercial or hear music on the radio you will dance around and sway back and forth
• You are full of spunk and personality, sometimes I don’t know where you came from!

• We have had to start ‘time out’ with you this month for throwing things at Momma (it’s only happened 2 times and I’m sure it was an accident both times, right? wink, wink)
• You are such a lover- you will come out of no where and puck up your lips wanting a kiss and your hugs are the best!

• You break out with new words every day- you now say “Move” especially to Jack when he is in the way, you like to say “up” for us to lift you up on the bed
• You are very quiet when we go somewhere new or are around new people but that’s okay, you are just an observer- I’ve had several moms say they wish their child was like YOU!
• You finally started eating yogurt this month and you love it to bits, even making a giant mess for Momma to clean up
• You love books “gooks” and you insisted on reading this book at breakfast!

Wow! What a month we’ve had- and every day you are learning more and more!! You make our life so-much-fun. We love you to pieces!!
