We had a fun day today. I love that Kelly is finally finished with summer school and since he’s done with his masters, we get to all be together now!I don’t know why this is so fun for her, wearing my shoes. But she looks so darn cute walking around in them!!
Cousin Maxum came over here for awhile to play with Gracie and see her new kitchen. He was a little shy at first, which is not like him at all!
Poor Maxum had a little accident at his pool the other day. He was jumping off the diving board, slipped and fell, and busted open his chin. He had to go and get 6 stitches and even worse than that, his big 4 year old swimming party is tomorrow and he can’t swim. Poor thing!
We watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for a few minutes then they started to play, play, play!
Maxum loved playing with Gracie’s new kitchen and grill!
I love how she’s on her tippy toes in this one!
“Uncle Googs” (Kelly) even brought out his old toys that he is just sure will be worth some $ one day and make us rich! We’re talking old, He-Man, ghost busters, things missing arms and heads. They had fun going through the bag!
I fixed a very nutritious lunch (bagel bites and a fruit salad, Ha!) and then it was back to more playing. I really wanted to get a cute one with the 2 of them but that just nearly impossible!
We did stop and make some “Puppy Chow”. There are so many names to this snack, it’s basically the rice cereal covered in pb, chocolate, and powdered sugar. Maxum was such a big help stirring and adding ingrediants. He loved the finished product too, Yum!
I said Maxum needed to come over and play every day, Gracie took a good nap this afternoon. She was worn out. (We were too!!) Just to show you, the instant Maxum left, look what Jack did.
This afternoon we sold some furniture that I had posted on Craigslist. Posted it Mon, sold Fri. Love that. Now we can start on her play room. I can’t wait! Then later I heard the most amazing thing come out of my husband’s mouth. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him say and I will probably never again. He said “Let’s go to the mall!” I nearly fainted. The mall? Kelly? For real? He had wanted to buy a new hat so off to the mall we went. I had to take a picture of this!
Doesn’t he look so cute pushing a pink stroller, ha ha!!
Next on the agenda? Maxum’s party and then we’re off to Nebraska for a few days so this is probably the last post for awhile. I will of coarse, take a lot of pictures! I hope to get a good picture of Gracie, and her cousin Easton and new baby cousin, Mati!
Happy 4th of July!!
