We are still here in our house- even though we think at any minute we could float away. It has literally been raining and raining ever since I wrote the last post about celebrating the rain. Maybe we were celebrating too much?
Look at Gracie’s water table full to the brim. I actually dumped it out on Sat. morning (full) and now again. Just to show how much rain we’ve gotten! It’s still raining at this very minute!
Just a few cute pics from last week and this weekend…
This was last week… I was changing the straps in Kelly’s car seat for her and she kept wanting in it. So, I let her and she would not get out. She wanted her juice and her wolf-wolf and she was so content. She stayed in this seat for over 30 minutes. I told Kelly if I’m ever wanting to restrain her and have a quiet minute I will just go get her car seat!
We are now the owners of a new baby gecko. We actually have these all over our house and garage. I don’t mind them because they eat all the ants and spiders. This one Gracie found and she was just beside herself. She couldn’t actually say lizard, it sounded more like lemon. She kept going and checking on him, or it!
I can’t tell you that we are just dying to get our new couch. We actually love all the room we have. It’s been really nice just playing or laying on the floor. I’ve been letting Gracie bring in toys from the play room to keep her busy!

And just when we thought things were going good and she was feeling good, things took a turn for the worse. She woke up from her afternoon nap with a high fever (102.4). We just don’t know what to think but some other kiddos have been sick at the sitter’s house too. My mom is going to keep her tomorrow and Kelly will prepare for a sub if needed on Tuesday. I have a 3 day training that I cannot miss this week. The joys of a full time working mom with a sick kiddo!
