Poor Gracie had her first sickness of the school year. It turned out to be a virus but sometimes those are the worst because there is NOTHING you can do for them. GG kept her on Monday and her fever reached 103.6 in the morning. Kelly played “Mr. Mom” and stayed home from school to keep her Tues, and Wed. I ‘ve had a 3 day dyslexia training that Plano pays big bucks for me to go so I couldn’t stay home with her at all. (Kelly did vacuum the entire house today though which made me so happy!) I think hee is ready for the Mr. Mom gig to be over though- not easy work!
She watched a lot of Barney (gag!) and drank lots of liquids so she is now feeling better. Just in case you were wondering, that is a Pampers sticker “stick-a” on her! Still very pale but better. Yesterday we had a break from all the rain so we took advantage of the sun rays and headed to the park. Surprisingly, even though it had been raining for the past 5 days, we were the only ones there for most of the time. Fun!
I think it’s funny too, that her Daddy dressed her this day; in a pink dress, and we went to the park!!!!

Oh poor thing! I'm going through the same thing with Maggie! Glad she's feeling better. :)
