We made the trip up north to the Big Orange Pumpkin Patch like we did last year. I really thought Gracie would like it- but I was wrong! She pretty much didn’t want anything to do with it. Her favorite part- the donkey.
They have lots of animals to feed when you first get there but P.U, do they ever stink!
There were SO many people and kids running around EVERYWHERE. We tried numerous times putting her down and she kept saying “I hold you, I hold you!” (her words for “you’d better hold ME!”
All I wanted was a semi-cute picture with her and pumpkins. Is that so hard to ask? I guess it is…
She would NOT sit by herself so we had to improvise and well… we’re hoping next year is better!
Daddy can always get her to smile!
Next we went on the hay ride! This is the best part of the whole trip!!
It was a little chilly on the ride but so fun!
And we even got some smiles from her… we set her down quick in the pumpkin patch to choose her pumpkin so we could get on on home!
Got one!
I tried again for one more picture…
And it was a no go again
She can’t be perfect smiling all the time…
Within 5 minutes… she was out…

Looks like lots of fun! Sounds like the hay ride made it all worth it. Gracie, I've been meaning to tell you that we think Lydia's favorite color may be orange, too! She has a book that teaches colors and she stays on the Orange page forever! it's her favorite.
Is that the one in Celina? I've heard of it but have never been. It looks neat...an actual pumpkin "patch!" Cute pictures :)
