We had a true Christmas miracle at our house. Gracie slept until 7:20 on Christmas morning. Not only that but she had no clue Santa had come. Love my naïve little 3 year old! We watched a show and I snuck down stairs to get ready for her to make her appearance. She came down slow not really sure what was happening. This is what Santa left her. I kept telling her to look in the chair and she couldn’t see it. She was all confused!
Just what she asked for; a black baby (now named Baby Sister) clothes, bottles, and Silly Bands. Yea for Santa!
She was thrilled!
She didn’t want to open up any other presents because she went right to work changing baby’s diaper. We made her stop and open!
She got Hungry Hippo’s game, a Dr. kit to help take care of her babies, some DVD’s, a fun new doll house, and much, much more!
She also opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa Gauger and she got a fun scooter, a camera, a text and learn game, and a new helmet to go with her scooter!
Ole’ Jack was looking for his presents too so Gracie and I pulled out his new bone and treats. He was happy!
Some of the danger zone after presents were opened.
Kelly and I usually buy each something for our house we can use but this year we joined this century (finally!) and got new I phones. Only poor Kelly, he wasn’t due for an upgrade and we weren’t going to pay the major fine to upgrade early so he has to wait on his for a few more months. I got him some work out clothes that he needed.
Gracie was taking pictures the whole morning too. It was quite hysterical to see what she captured! I’ll post those later.
We tried for a family picture, Ha! Jack likes to get in too and he hogged all the space.
Kelly introduced Gracie to the movie “A Christmas Story” and she actually liked it. We had a nice breakfast then got ready to head to GG and Pop’s for Christmas lunch. It was so nice being home and enjoying Christmas with Gracie. We didn’t have to rush. We just took our time and let her play and open as she wanted. It was perfect I even had time to start taking down our Christmas stuff. Before we left I had the tree ornaments off and all the Christmas décor on the dining room table. Pays to not have much out! Easy to put up!!
