One night this week we got to go to Gracie’s school for the annual Christmas program. As soon as we found out Gracie would be singing we started asking her what songs we would hear and she would tell us NOTHING. Not one word. One day I was even bribing her to hear a song and she said “I’m not talking to you Mommy.” Geez! She got to get all dressed up.
I thought she looked super cute in her little Christmas outfit. I got this on sale at Belk last year after Christmas for less than $10!
Thankfully GG and Pop live closer than us and they got there early and got us 2nd row seats! I was a nervous wreck for Gracie. I really had no idea how she was going to act. The program was super cute and only lasted about 15 minutes. Gracie did not do any hand motions but she sang almost the entire time. She was the serious one saying every word, where as most kids were shouting and then playing, jumping around or being silly!
I didn’t get very good pictures with my camera because I didn’t bring my better zoom and the kids were set further back. I did get some videos:
The little girl next to Gracie was cracking me up! She’s in the younger 2’s class but was so animated. She might be a little performer when she’s older!!
In the videos I think she looks more scared than she looked in person. I wouldn’t say that she was having a blast up there but she really was singing and watching the music teacher. It was cute!
We were very proud of her to stay up there and no crying!! She couldn’t wait to eat her candy cane and then she wanted to go home.
