Local Beach Fun

We hundreds of miles away from a real beach around here so we have to go to the next best thing, the Allen Beach Club! This is becoming a fun hang out for us and with the fountains next door, you can’t beat it! (I just wish it was okay for adults to run through the fountains, it’s super hot!!) Today we met Ali and Maxum there and the kids had a blast. This is the first time we’ve been able to meet up with them since school has been out. Gracie was so excited!

The 2 hogged the little shade at the beach club! Ali and I shortly joined them in the shade it was jus too hot to sit in the sun!

We are thrilled someone around here at this great idea to build this beach area next to the fountains. We only wish they would have considered the hot Texas summers and added a little bit more shade!

They played and played and played building sand castles together. They are just prepping for our annual family beach trip this summer too. Smile One funny on Maxum. A little boy came up and grabbed one of Gracie’s sand toys. Gracie was completely oblivious to it just playing away with something else. Maxum was like Gracie’s Keeper of Toys because he announced “That’s my cousin’s toy and you can’t have it!” So funny!

After some time in the sand we headed next door to the spray fountains and let the kids go wild, and they did!

It started heating up and it was almost lunch time so we ended our fun play date with a pic by the blue wall.

Look at these cuties.

Aren’t they so cute? We think so. Maxum looks so old in this picture to me. I can’t believe in just a few weeks he’ll be 6 years old! Sweet cousins!

That's a fun place! We've only been once but my kids loved it. And yes, DEFINITELY need more shade there!
