We’ve gotten into a little summer routine already and I can’t complain. I’ve relaxed a bit and realized we don’t have to do everything in just the first week. Kelly has already started summer school so Gracie and I are together staying busy while he is gone.
Gracie wakes up still around 6. The latest has been 6:20 I think. The girl will just not sleep in. She doesn’t want to miss anything! We spend our morning running errands (so it’s not so hot) and or shopping. We’re home by 1ish so she can get ready for a nap. Sometimes if we are in the car and I know she’s tired I bribe her. I tell her if she will stay awake when we get home she can watch a show. It works every time 
One day last week Gracie got to hang out with GG and GG’s friend Mimi and her Grand-Daughter Olivia. Olivia is just the cutest thing and Gracie had a great time with her!
Olivia (Gracie says it as Livia) is a talkaholic and kept Gracie on her toes!!
Gracie naps anywhere from 2-3 hours and it is pure heaven! She sleeps during the hottest part of the day so it doesn’t bother me! We’re trying to do things in the afternoon that involve water or good a/c! One night last week we headed to Cabela’s to check it out.
Gracie loved watching the fish in the huge tank and we both really liked this pontoon boat. It was only about $64K!
We’ve been hitting up the splash pad a lot this week. It’s only about 10 minutes from our house and Gracie just loves it!
Our house is still on the market but with contract pending. We are not having any showings. Technically we still have a contract so realtors can check the status of our house before doing a showing. Obviously no one is interested in viewing a house that has a contract so our house has been sitting and sitting w/o any action. It has been nice not cleaning like crazy but I’m just hoping at the end of June this lady hasn’t sold her house that our house has to go back on the market- we will have have lost nearly 6 weeks of prime selling time. It’s just been a nightmare! I’m trying to stay positive and have hope but it’s hard!
Kelly and I are excited to watch Game 6 of the NBA championship. We are so hoping for a win for our Mavs!!

I had no idea you were such a basketball fan, Shannon! And just how many cute bathing suits does Miss Gracie own?? My favorite one so far is the ladybug one. :) It's great that she loves swimming so much! Perfect way to spend the summer!
