Last week Abbie and Carter came to big D (Or big P) for a fun visit. It was so great to see them!
The first day they got here they came over to play and have pizza.
The next day we met them for dinner and play time at the Purple Cow.
The kids played in at the beach club area for awhile then the water show started so we went next door to the fountains. It was still hot so it was much nicer when the sun started going down!
Carter loved the water show. He was so funny!
Finally it was play time again and Gracie ran and stuck her head and bottom in the fountain. Anyway to cool off!
The next day we met for lunch at Chick-fil-a then headed across the street to a new indoor safari for kids. It was super fun and had good a/c. The kids loved it!
The kids played mini-golf and even rode a train. It was a super lame train that only went around like 3 times but they didn’t know. Maggie, Lindsay and I were laughing at the high school kids that worked there. You could tell they totally hated their jobs!!
They also had these big motorized animals that they got to ride. Gracie HATED the first ride so I made her do it again
Thanks for coming to visit Abbie and Carter!! We can’t wait to see you again soon!

How fun that you got to see them! Avery has the same swimsuit as Gracie :) Glad y'all had fun at Safari Park...it's funny you mentioned the high schoolers that worked there, I noticed them too and laughed about them with my mom!
Wish we had some cool safari place like that here! I need more indoor activities this summer!! Love Gracie's bird shirt. Where did you find that?
