San Francisco Food

I didn't take a picture of all the food we ate but here are some highlights:

Everyone was walking around eating these clam chowder bread bowls. We sat and ate one. Kelly loved it, me not so much. Not a clam fan! I did love the sourdough bread bowls. So yummy!





              Most places had Margarita pizza. So fresh and so yummy! We split this for lunch one day.






 The best were these little stands all along the street in Fisherman's Warf. They pretty much all sold the same food but was cheap. You could get a fish or shrimp basket, and a diet coke for $10. Cheapest food in the city!

I got this picture off the web so it's not what we ate but this was a shrimp basket and the other is calamari. We got calamari at another place near here and it was sooooo good!  If you ate at the stands you had to sit on the street and fight off the ever so pesky seagulls. It was not easy but we did this 2 times! Fun stuff.



I never did the Ghirardelli tour but did hit up a store and got some ice cream. Yum. Smelled so good in there with the fresh chocolate!  The candy bag below was $27. No, I did not buy it!



                                     

Kelly found a new beer he loved, Stella.




                He drank his beers and I got ice cream then we were both happy :)






                    Fresh Crab, crab season was in!





 We did make it to The Stinking Rose. A totally fun place in North Beach area (Italy area) and had yummy food. Everything is made with garlic. My pasta had huge chunks of garlic. I did not eat those!




             And this was my favorite, the Boudin bread place. It's a restaurant, shop and bakery. The bakers make fresh bread in front of these large windows and you can talk to them while they make it. You can also smell the bread for miles and it smelled soooo good! Look at these fun animals made out of bread. Totally cute !
