15 weeks

I had my 15 wk apt with my dr on Monday. Love the fast appointments! A quick sono, quick dr visit, & quick blood draws. I also got a flu shot then met with the office manager to go over the cost of having this baby. That was the not fun part! The good thing is I don't think the price has gone up too much more than 5 years ago. I do have to pre-pay for part of the c/sect though.

The unexpected part was a quick sono. It was just a follow up to do some quick measurements. All looked good & I got a 2nd opinion that it's still a BOY! He was very active on the screen but I got a sweet profile shot.

You can see his brain & face bones!!

My next apt will be in 4 weeks. That will be a big sono apt to check him all over from head to toe :)

I'm feeling better every day & starting to get more energy again. Still in regular clothes but they sure don't fit the same :)

Thanks for all your sweet comments & texts about our Jack. It's starting to sink in with me & if I think to much the tears start flowing . The new change is how quiet our house is. My guard dog is gone. I hear noises now that I've never heard or worried about. I always knew jack was there & protecting us. It is nice not having to run home fast to let a dog out while we are out running around. Someday will be ready for a new dog but we are getting used to our new norm. Gracie is doing great. She says she misses jack a lot but she knows deep down he's watching her. She will all the sudden look up high & start talking to him. As sweet as it is, it puts that lump right back in my throat! Time will heal but it doesn't take the hurt away...

His little profile is so adorable!!! I am so happy that you both are doing well. Have you thought of any names yet? Can't wait to hear them!

Great sono picture! Love the sweet profile shots like that. I'm so glad you're feeling well and confident the pregnancy is going so well. Can't wait to hear what names your thinking about.

Who is your Dr. for baby boy? I am sorry about Jack. We have a 10yr old Golden and I dread the day we lose her. Part of me wonders if we should bring a new pup while we still have her to help train the new baby or if it would make her age faster or leave the new pup feeling depressed when Mackie is gone. agh! so many questions! hugs!
