First Few Days at home with Ramsey

Our first few days were spent refinancing our house, and learning that newborns have their days/nights mixed up!
































We had sweet visitors most days and got lots of nice dinners dropped off! That was really nice!

Right at 1 week Ramsey had to have his first Dr apt. She just wanted to see him and check him out. He had 2-3 blowouts while we were waiting. Typical, right?? He had only gained 1 ounce since Thursday. Up to 8.8.



Later after getting Gracie, we zoomed back to the hospital for him to get the 2nd round of newborn screening test.


The test was so sad. The nurse pricked his foot then squeezes and squeezes to get enough blood to fill up these 4 circles on a special paper. He was fighting her the whole time. I also had a lactation appointment (not fun). On our way home we got a sonic drink at 1/2 price because of tax day!

The next day we took him out to lunch! I waited a whole month before I took Gracie out in public! With him, 8 days.

He's a sweet love (during the day) but a different baby at night! Slowly we are learning and trying out new things. It's a balancing act now with his needs and Gracie's needs. My needs come last and that's ok!

We did venture out to the new farmers market by us. It was nice for fresh air!






He loved his stroll around. Slept the entire time!

And Gracie? She's doing pretty good. She cannot get enough of him which is a problem at times, she's in his face a lot! Kissing on him or talking to him. She wants to feed him, hold him, and bathe him 24/7! We have to fight her off so we can hold him ourselves :)
