Our Hospital Stay

I know some people are begging to go home after baby. Not me, I was begging to stay! I had literally the best/sweetest nurses in the world with around the clock care and meds- I didn't want to leave!












Kelly stayed with me the first night. The next two he took Gracie home so she could have a semi regular schedule. The plan was for her to continue with school too but that didn't happen. She missed school all wk and was so happy!

She loved getting into my bed and eating a snack!


I thought I might be a little scared to be by myself all night but it was really nice. I got to bond with sweet boy and I had those nurses checking on me all the time!




Tues night Ramsey had his circumcision. It was like a 5 min procedure and no big deal. My Dr came to do it and checked on me.




Literally the sweetest Dr ever. She helped me at the end of my pregnancy with Gracie and the whole pregnancy with Ramsey.




Everyone was commenting how much G and R look alike.




Same nose, lips, and chin! He was just a lot fuller in the cheeks!

Our hospital does a big "fancy" dinner for your last night. Kelly got steak and I got grilled chicken and shrimp. It was a yummy meal!

It was so good!!


Both nights I kept him until midnight or 1 am and we just cuddled and talked! Then he'd go back to the nursery while I tried to sleep!

Finally it was going home day.

                              I was happy to see the light of day and get fresh air!


                      All strapped in and ready to go home! Now the fun can really begin :)
