It’s 2010! These 10 years have really gone by very fast. I have really enjoyed reading blogs that did a 10 year review so I thought I’d do one too!
2000
I graduate from Baylor, start teaching 3rd grade in Plano, and buy my first place. I also get my first baby, Jack.
2001
Kelly graduates from college in Minnesota and moves from Nebraska all the way to Plano, Tx to start teaching 5th grade. (old pics of Kelly are limited here!)
2002
We start talking a little at school and he asks me out in January of 2002.
We spend a lot of time together and hit it off!
2003
We visit San Antonio during our Spring Break.
We get engaged in June!
We ring out 2003 in Omaha.
2004
We get married, honeymoon in Switzerland and move into our house in McKinney.
2005
I leave Plano and start teaching at the elementary school in our neighborhood. We enjoy married life! Our nephew, Maxum, was born.
2006
We visit some of Kelly’s friends in Las Vegas.
and
We get to visit my friend Hillary in Washington, DC.
2007
We start off 2007 by watching the Nebraska Huskers lose at the Cotton Bowl. A few weeks later we found out…
I was pregnant!
Our sweet angel joined us in October!
2008
Gracie sees her first Texas snow. (It snowed 2 separate times in one week!)

We love our family of 3.
Gracie turns 1. I get to teach part time Special Ed. Kelly graduates with his masters in Education. I turned 30!
2009
Gracie starts walking all over the place and her little personality comes out!
We take our first family trip to the beach.
Gracie turns 2. Kelly turned 30. We said good-bye to my Nana.
Here’s to a great 10 Years! Filled with lots of memorable moments and some sad times too.
2010?
What’s in store for us this year? We’re not sure! I have a few new adventures and options to consider for myself so we’ll see. I do know that we are enjoying our life and making each day count! Happy 2010!!
