Since we were potty training this weekend we pretty much stayed in. It wasn’t bad though- we were really enjoying our last bit of Christmas break!
Gracie did A LOT of playing with her babies. She is just so funny to watch. I’ve never seen any other little one love on her babies as much as she does. I was
organizing cleaning out her play room closet and she spotted this and had to have it for her babies. It’s her old play mat and she knew exactly what to do. She insisted it be on the couch right “here” she would say. She also loves taking clothes off her baby as you can see this little baby is in his birthday suit. I kept asking if the baby was cold and she assured me he was fine!
As I was putting things away in the dining room she found her nap mat and blankie that she takes to school and just had to lay for a minute. She would sing “Night-Night Gracie”. She came out in a little bit.
Who knows what she’s up to in this picture…
Her Daddy took her for a little ride in the wagon, with babies of coarse.
And then last night they settled in together to watch a little Cowboy football. For some reason she calls it baseball? We’re not sure where she got this- every time it’s baseball. She get’s very concerned about them falling down (which they do on EVERY play!). We have to reassure her they are okay and show/tell her when they get up.
I know I already posted this picture but I thought it was just too cute.
She definitely is a little ‘character’ sometimes!
Updated to potty training: She did really good at the sitter’s house today with just one little accident. I am so glad! Hoping she can keep it up and we won’t have to buy diapers in 2010!!
