Our Weekend

We have been having such a fun, fun weekend. Grandma and Grandpa got here Saturday around 11. Gracie and I actually met them out front in the car. We had just come back from the grocery store! Our dishwasher had just been delivered too. We have been having super weather, which is always nice!

Sunday, Grandpa and Kelly left to go with my dad, Pop, to the deer lease. It isn’t the right time of year to hunt for deer but there are pigs. Wild pigs that is yuck! They were so happy to be going. While they were gone Gracie kept Grandma VERY busy!

By 10:00 they had already painted, played play-dough, played babies, and more! By 11 we had to get her out so we went to the park by our house. Gracie LOVED showing off for Grandma. And sweet Grandma even went down the slide at least 100 times with her!

When we were leaving the park Gracie said “That was SO much fun!”  Grandma and Gracie read a book out in the nice sun before naps.

Sunday afternoon my mom (GG) came over to see Gracie and Grandma. Gracie really didn’t know what to do at first with both her Grandma’s together. She even was a stinker for a bit and said “I hold you” to me. I was like “You have both your Grandma’s here and you want ME???”  I cooked dinner, King Ranch with salad and even brownies for dessert. Both Grandma’s were impressed with my cooking!

 

 

What  lucky girl she is to have 2 Grandma’s that LOVE HER TO DEATH!!

Monday we woke up and did more play time and then went SHOPPING! This is what Grandma and I do best! We took her all over the place and she was so good. On the way to the last store she said  “ONE more store?” Getting in and out of the car seat and stroller is exhausting. At the last store I let her out and she pushed the stroller herself. WE found her some of the CUTEST outfits for spring/summer!

Grandpa and Kelly made it back late in the afternoon while we were playing at another park nearby. She was happy to have Daddy home! We have a few more days with Grandma and Grandpa and we  are going to be celebrating Kelly’s birthday tomorrow!
