So the time as come at our house. Something I'm not really happy about....
MONSTERS!
A few weeks ago Gracie kept saying something and funny enough it sounded like she was saying mustard. I was like "What? You want mustard?" She kept getting frustrated and finally her word came out clear as the day "Monster, Mommy!" When we had this conversation it was like middle of the day so I just sorta blew it off and kept going....
Well this morning I go get her (have to wake her up) and she says "Monster in my room Mommy. Monster on my bed." but she was saying it all smiling like it was supposed to be there. Then I was like "What Monster?" and then she said it... (Lindsay, you will love this!) "Monster on my bed just like Caillou." I reassured her that dumb Caillou was just teasing and being silly. Mental note: Delete all 57 stupid Caillou shows on our DVR, TODAY!
So, my question is, is this just a phase? I don't want her to already be scared about something in her room or on her bed. I was terrified for years and years of Santa Claus because he came in my room one night thinking it would be sweet (thanks a lot Mom and Dad!) I think it's too soon for Monsters!
**Don't you love this Monster picture? It's the only one I could find that really wasn't too scary. And maybe this is the kind of 'mustard' she has in her head!!!!

Oh that stupid Caillou! I can also thank him for teaching Abbie to repeat "Are we there yet?" in the car a million times! Why do they have to like him? Good thing Abbie has moved on to Diego. Now I just have to worry about what animals scare her.
