Circles

Gracie wanted her colors out early this morning to draw me a picture. She loves, loves, loves markers, crayons and stickers. She had her bunny coloring book open and she said “I draw you a circle Mommy.” I was making her breakfast in the kitchen while this was going on. She said it again “I draw you a circle Mommy.” When I came to look at it this is what I saw….

I know it’s kinda hard to see but see the red circle on the left side by the bunny’s ear? Well, then look at the right side. She did it in green crayon so it’s really light.

I think it might have been a total fluke that she said she was drawing circles and then she did draw circles, but we were really impressed!

One little love for Barney, they do teach concepts. There is a Barney episode about shapes. There is a song that goes with it (like with everything Barney does!) and she does sing all the songs, “Shapes, shapes, there easy to see. You can tell a shape by the shape that it’s in. A circle is round and has no sides you see…”  Pretty interesting!
