Several weeks ago Alison and I took Gracie and Maxum to the bluebonnets. I posted a few pictures of Gracie but not too many because we gave my mom some for Mother’s Day. Alison found this great field really close to their house that was just overflowing in bluebonnets. They were so pretty to look at. As we got closer we realized the flowers were infested with BEES! We tried not telling Maxum so he wouldn’t freak out but he’s too smart!
This is how my child started out. WHY is she so DIFFICULT! Not to mention the whinning and begging “I hold you, I hold you Mommy!”
I ignored her and took a few of Maxum…
He was freaking out over the bees, she was crying. It was NOT looking good! I finally got them to both sit but no easy task…
Look at this one. He’s like “What are my mother and Aunie doing to me????”
He took off to explore and meanwhile Gracie sorta perked up.
I then somehow got Maxum to return to the chair to TRY and get one of them together..
But… as you can see that did not happen…
Look at this kid! We were literally screaming at him and so I guess he had had enough!
The ladybugs were much too interesting.
She had a blast throwing bluebonnets on him!
And just for fun… we’ve now taken bluebonnet pictures 3 years in a row. Here is a little comparison:
Look how much she has changed!!
