Happy Fodder’s Day!!

Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful Daddy’s we know!  We have had a good weekend. To start it off we got our air fixed. Yahoo! It’s like totally fixed now and it turns out we had a leak, phew! It’s all taken care of and added more free-on and we are good to go. It’s actually staying at the right temp! Just in time too because we’ve been having 100 degree temps. That is 100 degrees without the heat index. When that is factored in it’s above 105. Yikes. We are doing the a/c dance now that we can live again in our house.

Kelly has been showered with gifts and handmade cards. Gracie and I glued and colored all day on Friday. She made him several cards and he loved him.We also got him a year of Sports Illustrated magazine and a gift set from Omaha Steaks. Yum! I got him some for his bday and he loved it so we replenished the supplies. We’re breaking out the steaks tonight (if Kelly can stand the heat tonight).

Here’s the the photo collage we also made for him and he LOVED it. He keeps looking at the baby pictures of her and can’t get over how little she was. One of my favorites is when they are asleep on the couch together. She’s like 1 month old and we were still in the exhausted stage with her!!

We went to GG and Pop’s last night for some good barbeque. Pop smoked ribs, pork, and sausage and it was delicious. Gracie LOVED the beans and I paid for letting her have 3 helpings 2 times this morning. Yuck. The whole fam was there with my cousins so it was nice to see everyone. It had been a long time. I didn’t take one single picture. Boo.

We went to church this am then Gracie and I took Kelly out for lunch at On the Border. She has been doing sooooo good out at restaurants lately. It does help to have chips, tortillas, and butter on the table too. That keeps her interested!!

Right now Kelly is taking a little snooze on the couch while Gracie and I watch Max and Ruby. I guess we will let him sleep, since it’s Father’s Day and all.
