Yipppeeeee!

Today was my very last day of school until August!! It's okay, you can be jealous ; )    (But just remember that the next time you get paid and I get nothin'!!) I can't go too crazy because Kelly is teaching summer school and he starts already on Monday. Today was a special day because it marked my 10 year anniversary. As of today, I have taught 10 years! 10 YEARS! Like a decade!!! Just to make matters worse, my very first group of 3rd graders are graduating from high school on Tuesday. They are 18 years old and I had them when they were 7/8. I'm not going to get all sappy or anything I just can't believe I have been teaching that long.  I NEVER thought I'd be teaching 10 years way back then.  I started when I was just a newbie college grad all 21 years old!!! Anyways, yea for the summer and fun, fun, fun with me and Gracie. We start little swimmy lessons on Monday! (I didn't have a new picture so this is the only one I could find!!)

I can't believe you've been teaching for that long...it means we have been out of college forever! Congrats on 10 years, and ending the school year! Can't wait to see you at playdates :)

Happy Summer! I start Summer School Monday, too, but ours is only 4 days a week, so that helps a little! And, I just finished my 13th year of teaching. The years' really do go by fast all in all (although some days are longer than others) Congrats on 10 years of making a difference at a very tough school. I taught at Mendenhall for ten years.
