This morning Gracie and I hung out in our pj's together while Kelly had a dentist apt. I tried to take a few pics of me and G. Not so great! I just ended up deleting them!
We got ready and went to Studio Movie Grill in Plano. All summer they play old kids movies for dirt cheap. This week they're playing Ice Age 3. We had never seen it so we thought, why not?
The movie was really cute and we got to eat pizza during the movie. It's the best! Gracie LOVED the swivel chairs. There were kids everywhere so she fit in really well there. Lots of screaming babies. She did really good. She got a little ancy at the end and wanted to just play with her chair. The best was, towards the end she said "Mommy, I have go potty right now." I was like "yeah, right." But what was I supposed to do. (Gracie has this thing where she loves to visit restrooms so she can scream in them and hear the echo, but that's a whole post in itself!! Apparently I used to do that too when I was little (so my grandparents used to tell me all the time!) But anyways, I did take her and she did scream to hear the echo and she did potty. Whatever. It was fun none the less!

We came back and I left Kelly and Gracie on their own and did some kid-free shopping for myself and it was so much fun!
Gracie took a good nap this afternoon and later tonight we went shopping for me. ( I was looking for my b-day present). We shopped and shopped with no luck. We then went to dinner and ate yummy Seafood. Gracie was so good at dinner. She has this obsession with high chairs. We do not have one at home (haven't for over a year) but anytime we go somewhere that has one (like Grandma's house or restaurants) she goes bananas for it. The hostess said "I've never seen a kid want to sit in a high chair." Well, she does. The kid is crazy. We laughed at her and colored and she ate ice and laughed at us. It was so much fun. Then we did a little more shopping and finally found my b-day present. Just what I wanted; a new laptop!!! Yea. I LOVE IT. So now we technically have 3 computers. One is our old dell laptop but it's about to die. My new one is super fast, tons of memory space (great for pictures!), a web cam and lots of other fun stuff. And it's purple, my favorite. It's a real deep purple so you can hardly tell but its very pretty!! Gracie said "You like it Mommy? Is it beautiful?" She is too funny.
Me and my sweet girl. We weren't trying too hard, right??? I had to use the "it's birthday, please smile" guilt and it worked!!
I think it is going to be a great year, I can just feel it :)

Fun!! I hit the big 3-2 on Thursday. I'm gonna tell people I'm 25! ; ) Happy birthday, again!
