Jack Goes to the Vet

Jack needed to go to the vet this week for a check up. Since we are going to be beach soon he will stay in a kennel with my parents dogs. So, he was needing a few updates before he could go. For the first time ever, I took Gracie with me. She was thrilled to go. She kept saying “Jack go to the Dr? He get a shot?”

Jack was excited to go too. He loves going in the car! When my trunk was opened at the vet he took off for the front door of the office :) The first thing he did was get weighed. 88.6 pounds, perfect! He has lost some weight in the past year. Kelly has been walking him almost every single night and that’s good for him. The vet said he looked great!

Jack loves to lay on the cold tile floor in the waiting room. When he hears other dogs he started whinning. Gracie thought that was so funny!

We had a very short visit (love those) and Jack got all cleared and good to go. Now he is ready for his doggie vacation while we go to our beach vacation!!

I know it’s hard to tell in these pictures but Jack got a summer hair cut. GG took him in to get a nice shave while we were in Nebraska. We are all thanking her for that. Now he does shed all over the place and he is nice and cool in the 100 degree heat! I swear the shave makes him look 20 pounds lighter too.
